Languages are an important part of our school curriculum, helping pupils to develop communication skills, cultural awareness and confidence.

In addition to Irish and English, our school participates in the “Say Yes to Languages” programme, which introduces pupils, typically in senior classes, to a modern foreign language in an enjoyable and interactive way. We have had lessons in Polish and French in recent years. This programme allows children to experience new languages and cultures through games, conversation and practical activities.

We aim to foster a love of languages and encourage pupils to appreciate the diversity of languages and cultures in our world.
